Queenstown and Fiordland Lodges.
Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy, a night in Fiordland and Central Otago wine, from luxury lodge bases with a private driver — short transfers, no long drive days.
What is the Queenstown and Fiordland Lodges itinerary?
Six nights of luxury lodges around Queenstown, Fiordland and Wānaka: Glenorchy and Lake Wakatipu, a Milford Sound day with a scenic flight where the weather allows, and Central Otago wineries, all with a private driver. Quoted at net rates.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Why it runs in this order.
Two lodge bases and a final lakeside night, each transfer under three hours, with Queenstown Airport at both ends. Fiordland is a stay, not a day trip, so the Milford Sound day is not bracketed by hours on the road.
Who it suits: High-end couples and honeymooners, and premium clients adding a short South Island extension to a longer Australia or Pacific trip.
Destination guides on this route: Queenstown, Glenorchy, Te Anau & Fiordland, Milford Sound, Wānaka.
Services this programme draws on: Hotels, lodges & accommodation, Destination weddings & honeymoons, Food, wine & farm experiences.
