New Zealand events in 2027 — a calendar for group planners.
Concerts, sport and festivals that fill New Zealand’s rooms, coaches and ferries in 2027, month by month, with the dates we have checked and the ones still to be confirmed.
Which New Zealand events in 2027 affect group planning?
February and March 2027 are the busiest stretch: System of a Down in Wellington, Coast to Coast, Kingston Calling, Crankworx Rotorua, Hokitika Wildfoods and three Bruno Mars shows in Auckland. Rooms, coaches and flights tighten around each date.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Two weeks and one weekend to plan around.
System of a Down, Coast to Coast, Kingston Calling and the Art Deco Festival all fall between 7 and 21 February 2027. On 13 March, Bruno Mars plays Eden Park in Auckland, the Hokitika Wildfoods Festival runs on the West Coast and Crankworx Rotorua is under way. Groups asking for the same weekend as one of these dates should be told early, before the rooms go.
