What is a New Zealand DMC, and what does Explera do?
A New Zealand DMC is a ground operator that builds and runs programmes inside New Zealand for the travel trade. Explera DMC New Zealand works B2B only: net rates on hotels, coaches, self-drive, ferries, flights and guides, delivered white-label with a 24/7 desk.

Your execution partner for New Zealand — not a reseller.
Where a travel agent sells a package, a destination management company builds and operates it on the ground: contracting suppliers, managing transfers and guides, handling on-trip changes, and owning the 24/7 coordination once your travellers land. Explera DMC New Zealand works exclusively B2B — your margins, your branding, our logistics.
From Auckland and the Bay of Islands to Rotorua's geothermal valleys, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Piopiotahi / Milford Sound, we design programmes around New Zealand's distances and seasons — then operate them with the care the trade expects of an IATA TIDS-registered DMC.
One desk for both islands. Your brand on every document.
Net rates, costed to your brief
Hotels, coaches, self-drive, ferries, flights and experiences costed by hand for your group and released to you net, for you to mark up.
B2B-only, white-label
We never compete for your end client. Your branding on every document, your margin, and one account contact for your files.
Logistics that hold together
Drive times, Cook Strait ferry crossings, domestic flights and alpine weather sequenced so every day of a North-to-South programme connects.

Apply with your agency details on the B2B platform. We verify that every partner is a genuine travel-trade business.
Send your brief
Email full requirements as a new email with a clear subject line. We cost the programme by hand at net rates.
Confirm & document
Confirm the proposal and we issue white-label vouchers and a day-by-day itinerary under your brand.
We handle the ground
Arrivals, coaches or self-drive hand-over, ferries, guides and experiences, with 24/7 support while your clients travel.
Four rules that get you a quotation fast.
We welcome enquiries from travel agents and tour operators worldwide. Work with us this way and our New Zealand desk can cost your programme without back-and-forth.
Send your full requirements
Travel dates, number of travellers (adults and children), hotel category, the places to cover, how the group will travel (coach, self-drive or campervan) and every service you need — to b2b@expleradmc.com. We cannot quote from a one-line request.
One enquiry, one fresh email
Start every new enquiry in a new email with a clear subject line, for example “NZ Group — 20 Pax — Feb 2027”. Please do not reply on an old thread: each file is tracked separately, and mixed threads delay your quotation.
Tell us your flexibility
Say whether dates, hotel category or routing can move. New Zealand peak periods — December to February and the ski season — fill early, and flexibility is what keeps a programme quotable.
Costed for your brief
We do not send rate sheets, blanket price lists or general promotions. Every proposal is costed by hand against your requirements, at net rates you mark up yourself.
Group credentials you can verify.

What does a New Zealand DMC do?
A New Zealand DMC (destination management company) designs and operates programmes inside New Zealand for overseas travel agents and tour operators: contracting hotels, arranging coaches, self-drive and campervan hire, ferries and domestic flights, booking guides and experiences, and supporting travellers on the ground.
Who does Explera DMC New Zealand work with?
Only the travel trade: travel agents, tour operators, OTAs, MICE and incentive planners and corporate travel buyers. We do not sell to travellers directly, and every programme can be delivered white-label under your brand.
How do I request a New Zealand quotation?
Email your full requirements to b2b@expleradmc.com as a new email with a descriptive subject line, for example “NZ Group — 20 Pax — Feb 2027”. Include travel dates, travellers split into adults and children, hotel category, the places to cover and every service you need.
How far ahead should we book for New Zealand peak season?
As early as possible. December to February is the summer peak, with Christmas, New Year and the January school holidays adding domestic demand, and the ski season fills Queenstown and Wānaka. Send group enquiries for those periods well ahead so hotels and coaches can be held.
Which languages do your guides speak?
English-speaking guides and driver-guides are standard. Other languages can be requested for your source market and are subject to availability — tell us the language in your enquiry and we confirm it at quotation.
Can you deliver under our own brand?
Yes. Explera works B2B only and delivers white-label: your branding on documents, no contact with or marketing to your client, and net rates that you mark up yourself.
