Hayley Williams and Fontaines D.C. head the line-up. The date sits a fortnight after Waitangi Day, clear of a long weekend. Explera DMC New Zealand plans rooms and transfers for Laneway Festival Auckland 2027 groups. This briefing is for travel agents, youth and student travel planners and tour operators with music fans travelling to Auckland in February 2027. A Sunday festival at the end of the summer peak needs rooms booked well ahead. ## What do we know about Laneway Festival Auckland 2027? - **The date.** Sunday 21 February 2027. - **The venue.** Western Springs, across the Western Springs Bowl and Western Springs Park. - **The tour finale.** 1News reported that Auckland closes the 2027 tour. - **The line-up.** Announced on 30 September 2026, with Hayley Williams and Fontaines D.C. at the top. Groups buy them through the official ticket channels, and we confirm availability before building a package around the day. - **Age.** In 2025 the Auckland show made a late call to stop entry for under-18s, so we confirm the age rule for 2027 with the organisers before booking any group with under-18s. - **The date in context.** Waitangi Day is Saturday 6 February 2027 and is observed on Monday 8 February. The festival falls two weeks later, at the end of the busy summer weeks for rooms and coaches. ## How do groups get there and back? - **Location.** Western Springs is a few kilometres west of Auckland's city centre, next to the zoo and MOTAT. - **Transfers.** We plan coach drop-off and pick-up for the group and confirm them when the event's transport plan is published. - **Before and after.** A festival Sunday works well after two days of Auckland touring or before a flight south to Queenstown or Christchurch on the Monday. ![A crowd with raised arms in front of a stage under pink and white lights](https://www.explera.co.nz/assets/photos/people-festival_1160-736-1400.webp) *A crowd with raised arms in front of a stage under pink and white lights* ## How Explera DMC New Zealand can help We plan [student and educational groups](https://www.explera.co.nz/services/student-and-educational-groups-new-zealand/), [group tours](https://www.explera.co.nz/services/group-tours-new-zealand/) and [coach and private transfers](https://www.explera.co.nz/services/coach-and-private-transfers-new-zealand/) for travel agents and tour operators.
